Research Projects: Forming Critical, Autonomous Students Connected to Their Environment
At Gimnasio José Joaquín Casas, we strengthen our students’ critical thinking and autonomy through Synthesis Projects and the Graduation Project. These experiences integrate different subjects, connect learning with real-world contexts, and prepare students to research, create, and develop ideas that have a positive impact on society.
Synthesis Projects
They allow the integration of multiple subjects around a shared context.

The Graduation Project consists of a basic research monograph that guides students in developing study habits, academic writing skills, and the proper use of research resources.
It includes two research lines:
- Theoretical: Focused on scientific, economic, social, cultural, technical, or technological fields.
- Reflection and Creation: Focused on artistic fields and creative exploration.
